What We Do

If traditional concrete piers are specified on your existing slab design, re-engineering is not required to change to our fully engineered and patented system. The region’s leading engineers are familiar with our alternative and will allow our AS2870 compliant pile and cap to be used as an alternative to bored piers.

We offer a complete design, supply, and installation service state-wide. We know you’ll be impressed with the cost savings and efficiency improvements we will present over traditional concrete piers and old school screw piles.

It's been hard to keep up with all the price increases this year and we understand builder's margins have been squeezed. We've been hit too, but the Blade Pile Groups collective buying power means we are buying the steel at the very best prices. We are holding massive stocks in our Sydney warehouse, and we have no supply chain issues. We also stock GALV piles for high corrosion sites so you don’t have to wait weeks for piles to be plated.

At Solid Metal Piling we've been working hard to keep prices down too by leveraging our experiences and finessing our already market leading systems and techniques. We understand that foundations can often present variations that you may not be able to recover so we’ve solved the problem!

History

EASY FOR ALL

Blade Piles patented pile cap system means that nothing changes procedurally to bored piers for the trades that follow us. The cap enables us to finish the pile flush with Pad RL the same as bored piers. Uncapped screw piles need to be sat up 50-100mm from FGL and engaged in the beams with reo bars. The piling contractors typically don’t supply and install the reo bars, so this means more work for your concreter and MORE COST for you.

Uncapped screw piles sticking above the ground also make rectifying the pad a lot harder for your plumber after back filling internal drains and BACK CHARGES when they tear up the tracks of their diggers driving over the sharp uncapped tube protruding from the ground.than concrete and generates less waste. The piles can be unscrewed at the end of the buildings life and the steel can be recycled limitlessly.
